Antonio Visentin and Giammarco Ambrifi are Italian pizzaioli and second-generation members of a family deeply rooted in the tradition of Roman-style pizza. In 2022, the two cousins opened Pizzeria della Passeggiata in Priverno, near Rome, building on a legacy that began in 1985 when their mothers, Nadia and
Pina Scalesse, founded the family’s original pizza business in the heart of the town. Born in 1992, Antonio began working behind the counter as a teenager, studying Roman pan pizza while balancing his professional development with a degree in Business Management. Giammarco, born in 1997, earned a degree in
Political Science before specialising in pizza acrobatics and furthering his training under renowned instructor Angelo Iezzi. In 2022, they embarked on a new chapter by opening a larger venue just steps from the original location, expanding their offering while preserving the family’s longstanding expertise in pizza al
taglio. Today, Visentin and Ambrifi work closely with local producers to create a contemporary round pizza distinguished by electric-oven baking, a crisp crust, and a soft, melt-in-the-mouth centre. Their approach combines tradition, technical precision, and a strong connection to their territory.
